We Need You

"Stuff" is great. But YOU are even better! We need you skills, expertise, and time to make a difference in our community. Even a little can go a long way!

Charity Donations

01. FOOD PANTRY

From donating food to packaging, sorting, and distributing it to community members, your time and talents can have a sizable impact. Feel bonded to our community in a way you never have before!

02. SHOP

The proceeds from our thrift shops in Waterford and Racine give us the means to provide food, clothing, housing and healing to people in need. This only works because of volunteers like you! With a variety of assignments available, we have something to fit every schedule.

03. HOME VISITS

Some requests for assistance are more complex than others. By helping to assess the needs of families in crisis, we can make a plan to provide ongoing support. Rewarding one-on-one work with personal impact.

04. OUTREACH

Are there ways we could help the community that we haven't thought of yet? Let us know! If you're ready to lead a service project, provide skills training, or sponsor a drive, we want to make it happen. Let us know what you're passionate about. Let's work together!

The Benefits of Volunteering

In this busy world, we know your time is precious. But we also know that you want to make a true difference in the world and in your community.

Studies have shown that volunteering can have positive effects on both your mental health and your physical well-being. Reducing stress, promoting feelings of happiness, decreasing feelings of loneliness or isolation, and increasing overall life satisfaction are just a few of the (known) benefits of giving your time, talents, and gifts in the service of others.

At St. Vincent duPaul Racine, we encourage you to align your volunteering with your interests and values to maximize the positive impact your volunteer work will have on your personal well-being.

Do I need to be a member to volunteer?

We wish to partner with anyone who wishes to do good — from any age, stage, or background.

That being said, membership can also be a life-changing and rewarding experience.
